Remember how that douchebag used to sing that all an Uptown Girl really needs is a Downtown Man? Well of course he was full of shit and already a millionaire many times over when he wrote that song, but every so often some high maintenance chick like Tara English has to see for herself what it's like to walk on the wild side and throws a garage mechanic like Steve Hooper a bone right on her desk - or so this scene would have you believe. It would be fucking great for garage mechanics everywhere if it went down that way in real life, but what usually happens is she drinks too many apple martinis at some club and at the end of the night winds up with a bunch of black guys pulling a train on her while they blast the latest bass-heavy thug beats. Then she never talks about it ever again to anyone and sticks to fucking some asshole in their own tax bracket.
